About Luna Cooperative
Welcome to Luna Cooperative, a space in which creativity and community coalesce to form a nurturing environment we think of as home.

We offer you the top library and Great Co-working Place at Luna Cooperative
The inception of this cooperative was made possible by a small group of committed artists, educators, and community builders who wanted to make a place where people have the agency to overcome barriers to accessing creative spaces.
Accessibility
We intentionally ensure that our space and our programs are accessible to everyone. We approach accessibility holistically, which means we make accommodations for people who have disabilities.

We celebrate diversity and intersectionality. We are a safe space for people of all genders, races, ages, and backgrounds.
Sustainability
We aim to practice environmental responsibility. Our studio is built sustainably, with eco-conscious materials.

We take pride in curating an accessible diverse library BIPOC authors and illustrators. Our hope is that the community may see themselves reflected in the books and stories they read, have access to resources, learn about their history, and inspire authentic living.
Workshop & Event
At Luna Cooperative, we feel learning and creative exploration should happen throughout our lives. That is why we offer a range of workshops and events to educate, stimulate, and connect our community of artists and creators. Whether you are an artist or just starting to dabble in the arts, there will be a workshop for you at Luna Cooperative.

Artistic Techniques
We cover a variety of artistic techniques. For traditional methods, we provide workshops in oil painting, printmaking, and so forth. For contemporary or newer forms of art, we offer workshops in digital art and mixed media. Experienced instructors will impart their knowledge, experience, and qualifications in art-making to you in our workshops.

Creative Exploration
We host workshops that allow participants to discover new things and push the boundaries of their creativity. Sessions in these workshops are offered in order to encourage and provocation exploration that inspires participants and helps artists find new paths to explore and/or new paths for their work.

Skill Building
From learning how to use new tools and materials, to mastering specific skills, like portrait drawing or landscape painting. Our skill building workshops will grow your instincts as an artist!

Workshops for All Levels
Whether you are an novice artist wanting to learn the basics, or an experienced artist wanting to refine their craft, we host workshops for all skill levels, and support all participants collectively and collaboratively.

Wellness and Mindfulness Event
We think that creativity and wellness are two inseparable things. This is why we will provide wellness and mindfulness events, which include yoga, meditation, and art therapy sessions.

Exhibitions and Showcases
We host exhibitions and showcases on a regular basis to highlight member and local artist work. These events are an opportunity to see a variety of artwork, and to satisfy your curiosity about the work and artists in the greater community.

Open Studio Days
Members are encouraged to have their friends and family, and the general public, come view their work during an open studio. This presents an opportunity for members to involve friends and family in their artistic life, and to showcase their artistic approach and art practice. It's also a great way to get feedback on your work.

Outreach and Community Engagement
We also reach out to the local community to participate in outreach activities and collaborate with other organizations. All this works to make us create networks and advocate the value of art and creativity within our society.

Community Gatherings
We have regular community gatherings, such as potlucks, game nights, and movie nights, which give us a sense of home, and belonging to a community. These events are a great way to relax, socialize, and make connections with one another.

Workshops and Lectures
Guest artists, educators and experts are invited to give lectures and lead workshops on topics varying in content. They are a good opportunity to learn and get an insight on various practices and views about art.

Art Markets and Sales
We also organize art markets and sales where our members have an opportunity to sell their work and meet their potential buyers. It is an excellent idea to demonstrate your talent and attract more people with the help of these events.

Kids and Teens workshops
We will also have workshops dedicated to kids and teens, which will be an exciting and entertaining approach to allow the young population to use their imagination and creativity and build their artistic ability.
The Fame
Here at Luna Cooperative we boast about more than a simple workspace, we are family. The community we live in is the heart and soul of our business and we are devoted to making our members feel part of and connected to each other. That is what is so great about our community:
Multi-cultural Membership
We are a mult culturally rich community where people of all paths of life abound. We have artists, designers, writers, musicians and so on and everyone has a different vision and different talents to offer. This is what makes us strong, and it makes the creative environment, which we all live in, richer.
Teamwork
We consider that creativity is collaboration. We also encourage our members to collaborate, exchange ideas and assist each other in projects. It can be a group show, a collaborative mural, or a joint performance, but the possibilities of members joining their efforts and producing something really significant are unlimited.
Mentorship and Skill Sharing
We will have an effective mentorship program, where established artists will be paired with the new ones. This program will support study, development and sharing of knowledge. On top of that, we also organize periodic skill-sharing workshops where members get to teach and learn one another.
Supportive Environment
We know that creativity may be a vulnerable process. Our community will ensure an environment of safety and support, in which our members will feel safe to take risks, experiment and be themselves. We share the success of each other and offer encouragement and feedback as necessary.
Social Events and Gatherings
A good community does not develop overnight. We also have frequent social gatherings such as potlucks and game nights, field trips and retreats to allow members to know each other at a personal level. They are excellent means to relax, entertain and make friends.
Inclusivity and Accessibility
We are a community that values inclusivity and accessibility to everyone. It is our endeavour to ensure that we actively comply to make this space welcome and value all people despite their origin, identity or their capabilities. We provide accommodation and assistance so that the members are able to have full access to our programs and activities.
